Flowers for Algernon

The story of Charlie Gordon, a man with an intellectual disability. As a result of an experiment similar to the one conducted on a laboratory mouse named Algernon, Charlie becomes intellectually gifted. Over time, however, he begins to realize that his new state is temporary and that an inevitable return to his former condition awaits him. Progressing along his path, Charlie not only grasps science, but also understands the true nature of human relationships and the pain of loneliness.
